Based in beautiful, historic New England, Andrea Burns has been photographing weddings for over ten years. She received her training by apprenticing with photographers and then as a staff photographer at Amherst College, photographing events, sports & college activites. It was there that Andrea met Edward Keating, a New York Times photographer and she accompanied him on a wedding assignment. While watching him, she was inspired to photograph weddings in the same poetic and sophisticated way.
Andrea works with her mom, who is a creative and talented assistant, and a great favorite with the couples they work with.
